The patent covers the use of any electronic display screen, such as a desktop monitor, laptop, tablet, television, or display screen on the back of a seat where an air purifier or an Air-Clenz™ unit is integrated or attached to the display screen or its housing or mount. Additional patent applications are pending in the US and in foreign countries around the world.

Market-disrupting technology dramatically decreases the risk of potential airborne cross-infection on trains and buses

Atlanta, Georgia USA & Montreal, Quebec Canada / February 7, 2023 – Air-Clenz Systems™ (Air-Clenz™) and PlasmaGear announced today an exclusive partnership to significantly reduce risks of cross infection from airborne disease when travelling on buses and trains in Canada. Air-Clenz™ granted PlasmaGear an exclusive license to install seat back Air-Clenz units in buses and trains. PlasmaGear, a Montreal-based company, has a proprietary antiviral HEPA filter that can be cleaned and reused multiple times. The PlasmaGear-developed HEPA filter will be used within the Air-Clenz™ units.

Consumers understand the risk of airborne cross-infection is real in airplanes, trains, and cars; they will pay more for better indoor air quality and safety.

ATLANTA, GA, USA, November 14, 2022 – Air-Clenz Systems™ (Air-Clenz™) today published the results of a consumer research study of 500 U.S. frequent fliers that documents both significant concern about airborne disease cross-infection while flying and interest in how Air-Clenz technology reduces the odds of cross-infection by two to three times. The study found that almost 50% of passengers are very worried about airborne cross infection despite what airlines say about the safety of cabin air when flying. The study also revealed frequent fliers prefer to travel with technology such as Air-Clenz aboard, and will even pay more for an Air-Clenz equipped flight. Fliers also want to see Air-Clenz in cars they buy or lease, as well as in trains.

The patent covers the back of all seats, chairs or benches used in any indoor venue or vehicle (including aircraft) in the United States, when an air purifier or an Air-Clenz™ unit is integrated in or attached to the back of a seat, chair, or bench. Additionally, it covers all types of electronic display screens when the electronic display screen acts to block and deflect exhaled air mixed with room air towards and into an air suction intake of an attached, integrated, or associated air purifier or Air-Clenz™ unit. University of New Mexico Research Shows That Air-Clenz™ Can Reduce Passenger Cross Infection 50% To 100% Aboard Aircraft

Atlanta, September 12, 2022 – In conjunction with the RedCabin Aircraft Cabin Innovation Summit here this week, Air-Clenz Systems™ (Air-Clenz™) announced today the results of independent research by the University of New Mexico Department of Mechanical Engineering (UNM) on the value of adding Air-Clenz™ technology to passenger seats on a Boeing 737-800. The research showed that Air-Clenz™ can significantly reduce and in some cases stop cross infection among seated passengers compared to the standard HVAC system for that aircraft. The level of reduction ranged between 50% and 100% based on flight duration and the specific infectious airborne pathogen evaluated.

Broach, PhD used this presentation and poster to help answer questions from some of the foremost experts in the world on indoor air quality and the spread of airborne disease during the global Indoor Air 2022 conference at the University of Eastern Finland.
